Xiaodong Liu
Dr Ethan Liu is a postdoctoral researcher in the Polo Group. He completed his undergraduate degree in Science, specialising in biochemistry and molecular biology at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Here, he also went on to successfully complete his PhD in developmental and stem cell biology. Throughout his scientific journey, Dr Liu has discovered novel underlying mechanisms of the induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) reprogramming process, his curiosities primarily lie in understanding cell fate decision and maintenance. Dr Liu’s current work focuses on characterising stem cell plasticity as well as development.
