Grace E Lidgerwood
I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science (Hons). In 2013, I joined the Neuroregeneration Group at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (University of Melbourne), led by Associate Professor Alice Pébay. I developed a keen interest in stem cell biology and its potential applications in disease modeling, and in 2014 I began a PhD under the supervision of Associate Professor Alice Pébay, Associate Professor Alex Hewitt and Professor Andrew Hill. My project aims to elucidate the role of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in human pluripotent stem cell-derived retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells.
