This session will showcase recent progress being made in clinical translation of gene and cell therapies across Australia and provide an opportunity for delegates to learn more about how to progress discoveries from bench to clinic from those driving progress. We will also explore the role of regulators and healthcare professionals in provision and oversight of non-evidence based practices and contrast how these issues are viewed in Canada compared to Australia. Each speaker will provide a short presentation before joining a panel discussion on this important topic.
